Michael A. Creel
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Creel was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of our General Partner, effective August 1, 2007 and continues to serve as a director for the general partner. A certified public accountant with over 27 years of experience in the energy industry, Mr. Creel served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the general partner, since 2001 and 2000, respectively, and was elected senior vice president in 1999. Mr. Creel also assumed roles in investor relations, information technology and corporate risk.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President - Finance, with Tejas Energy, an affiliate of Shell from 1997 to 1998, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 1998 to 1999 and Senior Vice President from January to September 1999. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Creel served as Vice President and Treasurer of NorAm Energy Corp.
